A Eulogy to Remember

About Sheila

Photo of SheilaAward-winning writer Sheila Martin lives with her husband, Bob, and cats Boomer and Bambi, in beautiful South Surrey, British Columbia.

She holds an honors degree in sociology from Simon Fraser University.

In 1986, Sheila and her sister, Toni Alain, co-authored and self-published a cookbook called Food From the Heart.

The company they formed to publish that first book was called Sea Breeze Press.

Several years later, as Sheila was completing work on a book to help survivors of death in the family, her sister Toni was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Toni lived to help celebrate the publication of that book, The Survivor's Guide, which became an instant best-seller.

In the years since, Sheila has continued to expand Sea Breeze Press, and has now converted the business into an online publishing company, Sea Breeze Digital Publishing Inc.

Her husband, Bob, has also caught the website-building bug and has launched a number of sites providing information on consumer products. Together the couple now own and operate more than 40 websites.

Among Sheila's other information products are:

“To Those I Love” ... comforting movie

Please also visit Sheila's newest site for those who have lost a loved one to death.

The site is a "movie" called To Those I Love ... and it's based on a poem by Isla Paschal Richardson, written as if your late loved one is speaking right to you.

The poem gained widespread popularity after it was read by Gregory Peck at Frank Sinatra's funeral in 1998.
